Property stalwart Joey Maritz, who started the agency in 1989, says the rebranding to the fresh Harcourts model was the ideal opportunity to introduce new blood in top management. As new CEO, Dr Riaan Maritz is optimistic about the future. “We are now part of a winning team,” he says. “Harcourts is one of the top five international brands and following the partnership deal last year with the local Homenet group, we are already the fourth largest estate agency network in the country and the one showing the fastest growth,” he says.
